Toastmaster is not just about building your confidence in public speaking or your leadership skills in managing people, in Money Mastery, it is also about having fun and enjoying the friendships that have blossomed over the years. I am lucky to have grown as a member to a mentor in this unique club and I have made a lot of friends along the way.
We run fun, high-energy and memorable chapter meetings. We have done dramatic lightsaber fights in a Star Wars themed meeting. In a Naughty November themed meeting, our table topics master dressed up as a police officer and got our blind-folded members and guests to feel potentially “naughty” objects in a box before they made a speech about those objects!
The fun continued even after our chapter meetings.
Do you like to take selfies? We do! And we take our selfies after each chapter meeting in the…elevator! No other club in Singapore does selfies as we do.
The fun does not stop at the elevator. Often times we will hang out after our meetings and have supper together to strengthen bonds and friendships, and to reflect on how well collectively as a club we have done for our members and fellow guests. In Money Master, we love good food and great companionship!
